The stabilizers below work in a similar way to the * "Steadicam" stabilizing systems which enable the operator to move around with the camcorder and still get stable pictures. ( * Steadicam is a registered trade mark ) These handheld counterbalanced systems have a free moving handle which prevents hand movement going through the camera, giving a floating affect similar to a tracking shot.
