The Pro-steadymount rests on your left shoulder and has an adjustable support arm down to the abdomen, which gives maximum support for the camcorder, as the weight is distributed from the shoulder downwards to the waist. The camcorder fastens to a quick release camera plate, which is fully adjustable in all directions for the different sized cameras and enables the operator to set the camcorder in the required position. For viewing you can either use the viewfinder or the flipout screen. |

design allows plenty of room for the right hand to go through the handgrip of
the camcorder to get to the cameras controls – on/off, stop/start, zoom in/out

Cam-Shoulder Mount
is made of aluminium which can be bent to enable a snug fit onto the
shoulder. It's design allows plenty of room for the right hand to go through the handgrip of the
camcorder to get to the camera's controls – on/off, stop/start, zoom in/out
etc. A handgrip below the camcorder allows the left or right hand to support and take the weight of the camera. | How does it
work? The camcorder mounts onto the base of the frame, slightly to the right to enable the flip-out screen to be used to monitor your shots. Also on the base of the frame is a mounting point for a tripod quick release plate, as well as a mounting point for a monopod. To the right and left are handgrips to hold the Camframe. It is the combination of your left and right hand 30cm apart, plus your arms in front of you, that give the camera a stabilizing effect. Just above the right and left handgrips is space for a clamp-on camcorder remote control, ideal if you are using a Sony or Canon camcorder that has a lanc socket (more details). At the top of the frame there is another handgrip for carrying the Camframe or it can be used when taking low shots. Either side of this handgrip are accessory shoes onto which you can add an external light or microphone.
