The
Hague Handy-jib is great fun to use, you can create
crane and tracking shots with ease, its ideal for all lightweight camcorders
with flip-out screens.

You simply mount the camcorder onto the Handy-jibs camera plate, which is fastened to a pulley wheel, this has a control cable running down to a second pulley which is attached to a tilt handle. It is this handle that is used to tilt the camera up or down. A second handle on the telescopic pole enables you to control and counterbalance the jib. |

The jib's tilt control enables you to smoothly tilt the camcorder, you can have the camcorder pointing directly downwards or upwards or anywhere through 360 degrees, creating some very unusual shots. You use the camcorders flip-out screen to monitor your shot. Walking with the Handy-jib creates tracking shots, which gives the camera a floating effect. You can pan the jib arm from side to side or go from a low shot to a shot over 10ft. high, making it easy to see over people or fences. |

The camera will reach places normally unattainable, you can go through
windows, under or over tables, over water, you'ld be amazed at the shots that
can be achieved with a little bit of practice!
The Handy-jib can also be used as a monopod, by adjusting the telescopic pole to
the required height, you can then use the tilt handle to change the angle of the
camera.

Junior Jib fastens to the camera screw of any sturdy tripod or onto the
3/8 stud of a professional tripod. Your camcorder attaches directly to the jib
arm's camera plate and is secured with the thumb screw supplied. There is an
attachable counterbalance arm complete with weights, plus an adjustable fine
trim weight. The jib has a variable tilt control with lock, which enables you to
tilt the camcorder 90 degrees and the camera can be set in any position, so you
can have the camcorder pointing directly downwards or upwards creating some very
unusual shots. The new design has a much greater vertical crane movement, which
means the camcorder can go from ground level to over 7ft.6" high and you can pan
the jib arm 360 degrees. There is also a jib lock, should you require to leave
the camera at a set height.

JUNIOR JIB The Hague
Junior Jib fastens directly onto the sturdy stand. It has an adjustable
telescopic column with a minimum height of 110cm and a maximum height of 188cm. The column
can be locked at the required height and there is a safety pin to prevent the column slipping.
It is ideal if

The new Hague HDV Boom K8 has been developed to support the new range of HD camcorders such as the Sony Z1, V1, A1 etc. plus all other “handheld” camcorders under 4kg.. The boom is fastened directly to the video head of any sturdy tripod, in the same way you would attach your camcorder, it can be mounted using both 1/4” and 3/8” screws.

On the end of the boom is a camera plate mounted on a pulley with a control cable coming down the boom to a second pulley at the side of the video head on the tripod. It is this control cable that keeps the camcorder level as the boom is raised or lowered. Tilting the tripod’s video head controls the camera pulley on the end of the boom, enabling the camcorder to be tilted up or down. The radial ball bearings in the pulley ensure a very smooth tilt movement. |

| The boom breaks down into 3 pieces making
it quick and simple to set up, standard bar weights (not supplied) are used
for counterbalance and there is an adjustable fine trim weight to achieve
optimum balance. The boom can be used at 2 different lengths, at its longest
length the camera will go from ground level to over 3.5metres high and at
its shorter length to 2.5metres high. An optional Lanc Remote Control can be used to control the camcorder and if you run a cable down the boom arm you can attach a monitor to the tripod to monitor you shots. Specifications: |
