These new HD digital cameras such as the Canon EOS 5D MK II and Lumix GH1 produce great HD video but are difficult to hold for handheld filming, The Digital SLR Camframe has been designed to hold this type of camera, it has a large camera plate with adjustment forward and back to get the correct balance depending on the lens being used. This camera plate can be repositioned from centre to the left or right to get the camera in the required position. Also on the base of the frame are three mounting points for a monopod or a tripod quick release plate, which enables you to quickly go from handheld to tripod mounted with the frame still attached  with any accessories you may fasten to it.
The Camframe has handgrips on the right, left and top of the frame, giving various holding positions. On either side of the top handgrip are accessory shoes onto which you can add an external light or microphone. An additional handscrew is supplied to attach any other accessories to the base of the frame.
How does it work?
Greater stability is achieved when the frame is held by both hands, with your arms slightly out in front of you.  It is this that gives the camera a stabilizing effect. The handgrip on top of the frame is used for low shots and carrying the camera between shots.

The New Hague DSLR Motion-Cam is a handheld camera stabilizing system that has been specifically designed for DSLR cameras such as the Canon 5D and similar. These stills cameras have become extremely popular as alternatives to camcorders due to the high quality when used in HD Movie Mode, but unfortunately they are difficult to hold, especially when you require moving camera shots. With the DSLR Motion-Cam you can create super smooth "Steadicam type" shots.
The new DSLR Motion-Cam has been designed to cope with different lenses being used, and the fact that on these camera's the tripod mounting hole is never in the centre of balance, which can make them difficult to balance on some stabilizers. On the new DSLR Motion-Cam we have increased the range of movement forward & back ,plus extra sideways movement for balance correction.
The crucial part of any stabilizer is the gimble, as it is essential that the handle is totally free moving. The Hague DSLR Motion-Cam's gimble has a highly polished ball with a nylon socket, plus a radial ball bearing handle ensuring super free movement. This makes it far superior and more effective than any other "ball type" stabilizer on the market.
The stabilizer is supplied with a selection of counterbalance weights to support cameras up to 2kg. Once balanced, forward & back  fine trim is achieved by manually moving the camera plate forward or back, and sideways fine trim achieved by hinging the weights on the counterbalance plate from side to side.

The Camera Steadymount 3  makes it much easier to keep the camera stable when shooting video with a stills camera such as the Canon EOS 5D MK II or other similar cameras. The camera plate is adjustable to enable you to hold the camera in the centre of balance making it easier to hold. Your other hand is then free to stop and start record or to hold the barrel of the lens to adjust focus.

It's ideal for all types of cameras and camcorders up to 3kg.
