CORRECTION PLATE Product code BCP £13.00 exc.vat £15.60 inc.vat Unfortunately not all camcorder manufacturers put the tripod mounting hole at the centre of balance on the camera, which means the camcorder could be front or back heavy, or the mounting hole could be offset to the side on the camcorder. Larger batteries or a wide angle lens will also affect balance. This can sometimes cause problems when the camera is mounted onto a support or tripod where it is preferred to have the camera equally balanced for stability. The Balance Correction Plate will correct this, it simply screws onto the base of the camcorder either pointing forward or back or to the side. Larger batteries or interchangeable lenses will also affect balance, this is particularly prevalent with Digital SLR cameras. The Balance Correction Adaptor solves this problem, as the camera can be moved to the left or right to correct sideways balance and then one of the six mounting holes can be used to correct the balance of the camera from being front or back heavy.
