video club The IAC has a full list of all the clubs in the UK. www.theiac.org.uk |
We are a friendly club open to all those interested in
making movies. You do not need to have expensive equipment and can
join the club at any time of the year.
We are an enthusiastic amateur movie-making club and tend to make films lasting from 1
to 20 minutes that are either dramas, documentaries or music videos. We are
particularly keen on ideas that we can make into short films that we enter into
local, regional and national competitions. If you are interested in film making,
from preparing a script, learning new techniques or a
budding actor interested in being on the ' big ' screen, then this is the club
for you.
We have forums in which we show members productions and discuss different
techniques.
We occasionally visit other clubs and enter competitions locally and nationally.
The club is a member of a group of other video clubs in the midlands called The
Midland Movie Makers (MMM).
