 The RØDE Stereo VideoMic X-Y Condenser Microphone with switchable pad & filter. Battery powered. Supplied with suspension mount and a furry windshield. The microphone attaches to the camera via the Hot Shoe found on the top of most video cameras. Connects to camera by Stereo 3.5mm Mini Jack.

The Handgrip is ideal for handheld microphone use, it has a 1/4" stud with adaptors for stepping to 3/8" and 5/8" plus a shoe adaptor for microphones which would normally be attached to the camcorder's accessory shoe.

The HF100/10, along with some other new Canon camcorders, do not have a standard size accessory shoe so you are unable to attach other manufacturers microphones, lights etc. The Shoe Adaptor converts the small shoe on the camcorder to a standard sized one.
