HOT SHOE ADAPTOR The Hot Shoe Adaptor can be used in several ways. One way is to attach a
Short or Long Articulated Arm or other accessory with a 1/4" male screw to
it. Another way is to remove the top of it so that it has a male 1/4" male
screw to which you can attach any accessory with 1/4" female
threads, such as external sound devices etc. directly to it. |

MICROPHONE HANDGRIP Product code MH £23.00 exc.vat £27.60 inc.vat The Handgrip is ideal for handheld microphone use, it has a 1/4" stud with adaptors for stepping to 3/8" and 5/8" plus a shoe adaptor for microphones which would normally be attached to the camcorder's accessory shoe. SHOE BRACKET Product Code H6811 Some camcorders do not have an accessory shoe, so you are unable to attach lights, microphones, etc. The Shoe Bracket simply screws into the base of the camcorder and is adjustable sideways. There is also a 1/4" thread in the thumb screw so a tripod camera plate could also be attached. Made of plastic. Size 30 x 170 mm. |

Most new
hi-spec consumer camcorders have an accessory shoe for external
microphones, lights etc. Unfortunately both Sony and Canon have changed
from a standard sized shoe to their own small sized ones so only their
branded branded products can be attached to the camcorder. Our range of
shoe adapters solve this problem and enable other manufacturers products to
be used on the camera. Another problem users have found with some Panasonic camcorders is that although they have a standard sized shoe it is under a cap in a recess making it difficult to attach some microphones and lights. Our shoe raisers solve this problem. If you are intending to use a microphone with one of our adaptors, check that your camcorder has an external microphone socket before purchasing. |
