The DST-3 Professional video tripod is a perfect fit for today generation of compact and lighter weight DV and HV DV cameras. The all-metal fluid head is constructed from the finest, precision-machined aluminium parts. These parts ride in a fluid head that makes for smooth and accurate camera movements. The head is mounted on a 60m bowl level mount so the head can be perfectly levelled quickly and easily one the tripod is set.

A longer that expected camera plate allows for proper balancing of a camera with a variety of accessories attached. The camera plate has a long travel when mounted on the head for even more balancing options.

The DST-3 has dual rail upper stage legs to reduce the chance of tripod flex when panning the camera. The lower stage is released and locked by a single speed-release leg lock on each leg for simple and fast set-up. For added stability the tripod has an adjustable mid-level spreader built in. All these features make the DST-3 a perfect fit for any video camera in the 5-8 pound class.
